Indiana and Kentucky jointly agreed to a four-game men’s basketball series beginning with the 2025-26 season and continuing thru the 2028-29 campaign. \nThe four-game series will include two home games for each program. To provide more Hoosier fans with an opportunity to witness an IU-UK game firsthand\, IU has elected to hold one of its home contests at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The two programs faced each other in Indianapolis 10 times from 1987-2005 at the Hoosier/RCA Dome\, games that featured electric atmospheres in front of crowds in excess of 40\,000. \nThe series schedule is: \nDec. 13\, 2025 – UK 72\, IU 60 – Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center (Lexington\, Ky.) \nNov. 20\, 2026 – Lucas Oil Stadium\, Indianapolis\, Ind. (IU home game) \nDec. 18\, 2027 – Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center\, Lexington\, Ky. \nDec. 16\, 2028 – Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall\, Bloomington\, Ind. \nThe December 2025 contest marked the first regular season game between the long-time rivals since Indiana’s 73-72 victory at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Dec. 10\, 2011. That 14-year regular season lapse is the longest in the series since the two college basketball bluebloods went 21 years between regular season encounters from 1944 to 1965. The two teams have met twice since the 2011 game in the NCAA Tournament\, with Kentucky posting a 102-90 win in Atlanta in the 2012 Sweet 16\, and IU earning a 73-67 win in the second round of the 2016 NCAA tourney in Des Moines. \nKentucky leads the all-time series between the two schools\, 33-25. Additionally\, registration for the ticket presale for all 28 rounds will open for preferred customers starting on Tuesday\, October 6\, at 10 a.m. ET. Interested parties can sign up for preferred access at SupercrossLIVE.com and ProMotocross.com. Fans can also sign up for SMX Texts to receive the latest information and updates coming from the SMX League. \nThe 17-race Supercross schedule will once again visit 16 cities spanning 13 different states from early January to mid-May\, from West Coast staples like California\, Arizona\, and Washington\, to Midwest and East Coast stalwarts like Texas\, Florida\, and Indiana. The 2027 schedule will also see the addition of two new destinations\, with the sport’s first visits to the famed Alamodome in San Antonio and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The championship will also make anticipated returns to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa\, Florida\, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough\, Massachusetts\, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford\, New Jersey\, and Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh\, Pennsylvania. \nThe 56th season of the Pro Motocross Championship will maintain its iconic slate of celebrated Nationals\, featuring the most storied venues in all off-road motorcycle racing. The 11-race campaign will consist of 22 grueling motos and will travel to 10 different states over the course of the summer\, beginning on Memorial Day weekend and ending the final weekend in August. The journey will feature celebrated traditions like Father’s Day weekend at the High Point National in Mt. Morris\, Pennsylvania\, and Independence Day at the RedBud National in Buchanan\, Michigan. \nAt the conclusion of the regular season\, the Monster Energy SMX World Championship Playoffs & Final will host three postseason rounds following Labor Day weekend. Those cities and venues will be announced in January. \nThe always popular FanFest is currently planned for all Supercross rounds except Detroit.
